The Mission
At By Heart Parenting, the mission is to help elementary and middle school families build stronger and more loving relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Using my "inside-out" philosophy, the goals include: ✅ better communication in families ✅ having more tools to lessen conflict and ✅ lowering stress levels for you and your children. When parents learn more strategies, clear expectations and boundaries can be followed with greater understanding.
Ilene's Approach
My plan is to take a caring, collaborative, non-judgmental approach to coaching that focuses on each family's unique needs. I proceed by learning how your family expresses love and then help close family communication gaps so all members of the family feel loved. I begin by supporting parent self-care and self-forgiveness. When parents feel calm inside, family members feel safe to be more open and trusting. The Coaching approach leads families to feel more connected "by heart!" ❤️
